Using a Headset to Play GW? - Guild Wars Forums

I should have asked this question BEFORE I went and ordered a headset today......Oh. well. I been reading alot lately about using headsets to play GW and other games and it sounds like it could be GREAT. The one thing that I have read about which turns me OFF - is a BEWARE of FILTHY language. I would hope that when some groups say ONLY Mature mambers wanted - that this is NOT what they mean by Mature. I do not see anyting mature about using foul and disgusting language.
I thought maybe, don't know yet, that IF I had the headset that I could kind of listen/monitor various groups say on Teamspeak to seek out one that may cuss a little but are not hardcore about it. Is this possible? Will I be able to filter out the obnoxious? Please advise and......

Can you actually use a headset in the game or do you have to sign-up on some other site to use it?

not in game some people will have teamspeak servers up people that the collectors eddition get two months free teamspeak i think

Most legit guilds do have a policy of kicking for bad language. Our Gaming clan is quite large and has many underage kids in it with us old schoolers... so we try to watch the language as much as possible in our TS server for all our games. but it does get out of hand sometimes... then its kick city... its a privilege not a right... so that's the best way to look at it... I do encourage you to try it and try to find a good guild that is not a bunch of foul mouth little hoods... Its not easy. many just can not keep their language clean. it comes from lack of education and maturity... So just look around. there are many legit guild to try to get into... if its hard to get in... its prob worth trying to get into. cause they are enforcing some standards... lol so good luck, and I think you will like using team speak...

I have to use 2 headsets because the GW one works for my sound and i need another headset for my mic....is my soundcard that old ? soundblaster 5.1
And does the Logitec headset hurt the top of anyones ears too ?
Or is it just sitting on my ears too long ?
Oh and im offended if you dont use the F word in a sentance : )

PS The girls in our channel use F more than we do
